I found this retro teacup and saucer in a charity shop in Putney today.
I love the dreamy figures!
The pattern is Emilia by Arabia of Finland – it was designed by Raija Uosikkinen and wasn’t produce after 1964 apparently! An excellent find – will try and use it on the stall one week.
Saturday was another excellent day and we sold a whole lot of cakes!
Today we got given our stalls much quicker than previous weeks – result! But not so good was the fact we were opposite another tea stall! It was all good though and we even got chatting to the nice guy on the other stall
Today was a first for the new coconut and pineapple cake – or the Pina Colada cake…

Its time to take another break but we’ll be back on Saturday 31st October – Halloween! At the moment our heads are spinning with ideas for spooky cakes – exciting!!!!
We have a delicious new cake making it’s debut at Portobello Market on Saturday – Tropical Pineapple and Coconut – Lord ave mercy its full of sunshine flavours!
Its joined by Pretty in Pink and Baby Blue Vanilla, Triple Chocolate and Traditional Toffee – yummmm!
